Mayor Barlow and Oswego Common Council to Recognize two deserving Oswego citizens for their recent actions and accomplishments

Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow and the Oswego Common Council will recognize City of Oswego Firefighter Sean O’Gorman with an award for his brave water rescue saving the lives of three women while on vacation out of State.  Mr. O’Gorman’s story has received attention nation wide and at the May 14th Common Council meeting his hometown will appropriately recognize his heroic actions. 

Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow and the Oswego Common Council will also recognize Mr. Nicholas J. Little, a teacher at Fitzhugh Park Elementary School in Oswego for receiving the 2018 Empire State Excellence in Teaching Award from New York State.

When: Monday May 14th,2018 - 7:30pm

Mr. O’Gorman and Mr. Little will be recognized at the start of the Oswego Common Council meeting at 7:30pm.  Open to the general public.
